Over the years one thing that we see a lot of is siblings.  Whether we are photographing children's portraits, senior portraits or even weddings we are honored to get to be a part of these special times in peoples lives.  When younger brothers or sisters come back for their portraits or weddings it is even more of an honor.  This year we have seen a lot of sisters and brothers of previous seniors that we have done portraits for.  Yesterday we got to photograph Apryl the third child we have photographed from her family and it's always fun to have them in the studio.  Another thing that is fun to see is how each one has their own personality.  In yesterday's session I think we showed several different sides of Apryl.  This afternoon I get to see another younger sister of a senior that we photographed a few years ago in the class of '09.

 

Football, cheer-leading, cross country and a lot of other practices started a few weeks ago and now school has started.  It is a busy time of year for a lot of you if you are involved in any of these activities.  We don't want you to be left out in the cold on some great sports portraits so we want to offer a special session to the first ten seniors to call.  A special never before offered sports only session where we do nothing but you in your sports gear or uniform.  This session is a 30 minute session and the session fee for it is only $25 to the first ten people who make an appointment.

Volleyball, swimming, wrestling, football, soccer, lacrosse, track….

Don't put it off, this is your chance to shine!

Last week we found out just how hot it could get in Georgia, and wouldn't you know I had sessions outdoors on the hottest days.  Afternoons are so much better for lighting in some locations but then you have to deal with the heat.  Both of these sessions were done late in the afternoon on two different days last week when the temperature was 98 and 100 degrees while we were doing the photography.  So now you see some truly "hot" senior portraits!

It doesn't even come close to ending here!  Just because school is starting doesn't mean you missed out on senior portraits.  Now that school is starting it is just a little harder to find appointments because of school and practices starting.  Fall is a great time for senior portraits, actually one of the best because of weather. 

Every year people call and ask if it is too late or how long do we take senior portraits.  Easy answer is that it isn't too late and we take them all year.  So if you really like cold weather or have some winter coats you want to use you can do it in the middle of the winter, a snow storm would be a great time for you.  I am thinking a snow storm might be a welcome relief to the weather we have been having lately.
