Senior Portraits to CEO

Jefferson High School Senior Portraits

Donovan is a Jefferson High School senior this year.  We have been photographing Donovan and his  football team for the last few years so we have seen him a few times.  Photographing someone in a big event as opposed to a portrait session is a lot different, 20 seconds for one and over an hour for the other.  One thing about that 20 second thing is that Donovan stood out.  Donovan seemed to have his head on straight and impressed us a lot.   When the time came for senior portraits we were so glad he chose to come to us for them.  Donovan is a really nice young man and dreams of  being a CEO someday.  Donovan loves playing sports and being active. His idea of a perfect day would be going to football practice and hanging out with friends.  Photographing young men like Donovan and getting to know them is our idea of a perfect day.

We get calls every year asking if it is too late to have senior portraits made.  We schedule portraits all year, so it is never too late for senior portraits.  While we might not be able to go out and do much outdoors in the middle of the winter there are other options.  For outdoor sessions spring, summer and fall are great times depending on the look you are wanting.  While those seasons are good for outdoors you can still get some great images in the winter too.  You have to go for a different look and dress differently for sure.  Or, if the cold and the winter look isn’t what you are going for we can also photograph you in our studio or downtown during the cold winter months.  With so many options there really is no bad time for senior portraits.

These are just a few from Donovan’s Outdoor session.

Saxy Senior Portraits

Hayden is a Sax man and music is his life.  So when we talked about his senior portrait session using his saxophones was a must.  Hayden is a senior at Jackson County Comprehensive High School (JCCHS) this year.  In addition to his sax collection he also has a watch collection and loves cars.  After high school he wants to study geology, and of course play music, in college.  The schools he is looking at right now are UGA, Auburn, University of Kentucky and Alabama. Lets hope he goes to UGA!  One thing Hayden would love to do is buy an old car and restore it.

Since Hayden was into so many different things we did the My Stuff session along with a Downtown session.  We had a blast getting to know Hayden and see him open up and get into his sessions!

Good luck next year Hayden, we hope to see you in the Redcoat Band.  🙂

Just what did Hayden have to say about his senior portrait session, I know you are wondering.  “My session was fun, relaxed, and enjoyable.  Unlike my sessions with other studios.” (Cady Studios)  “With Bentley’s you get treated like an individual rather than just another customer.”

And when asked what he liked best about his portraits?  “I liked the fact that it was difficult to choose my favorites.  They were all so good!”

These are just a few from Hayden’s sessions.

Senior Portraits In Town

Downtown Winder senior portraits with a little formal thrown in for good measure.  Will is a senior this year at Winder-Barrow High School and wants to join the Navy after he graduates.  Before we went to do his downtown session we did a quick formal session in our studio and talked about locations for downtown.  In his spare time Will loves playing basketball.   We photographed Will as a baby and toddler and boy was he a lot to handle.  Will HATED getting his photo taken when he was little and would give his mama and us fits!  We are happy to report he has come a long way in the portrait department and he did great during his session!  The third photo does remind us a little bit of his toddler days though!  😉

Senior Portrait & Cheesecake

NOHS Senior Portrait Session

Conerly’s passion is baking, baking cheesecakes that is.  She has a little side business baking cheesecakes for people and is learning just what goes into running a business.  It seems that just being able to make a really good product and selling it isn’t all there is to it,  you need to know your cost to set your prices.  Sure a $20 cheesecake sounds good from a buyers standpoint, but what if you have $21 just in ingredients in that cake before you even count your time and overhead.  Yes, trying to find that sweet spot can be hard.  In addition to baking cheesecakes Conerly is about to graduate from North Oconee High School and go off to college.  Baking isn’t all she thinks about, she plans on being a physician’s assistant.  She already has her dream car picked out, a BMW X5. While she wants to someday go to Italy and Paris all is not lost because she wants to eventually live somewhere in Georgia.

These are a few from her outdoor and downtown sessions.

Senior Portrait And Jeeps

For a lot of the senior portraits we have photographed this year a Jeep seems to be one of the most popular vehicles.  While we have a lot who want to someday own a G-Wagon, Jeeps are very popular for some reason.  Tristan is a big Jeep man and when he isn’t going to the mountains in his Jeep he is playing football for Dacula High School.  After high school Tristan wants to go to college at Georgia Southern or Kennesaw State University.  Tristan is one of the most polite and nicest young men we have met in a long time and I’m sure whatever he decides to do he will succeed in.

These are just a few from Tristan’s Outdoor session with us.
