Oh, and if you haven't looked at a calendar lately – school starts back in 7 weeks.

Every year we are asked that question.  The reason they want you to go to the school photographer is so that all of the senior photos in the yearbook will look the same.  When the school opens it up to anything people bring in snapshots, photos that are too small, photos with other people in them and photos that are too light or too dark.  Then when the yearbook comes out and the persons photo doesn't show up or looks bad in the yearbook everyone gets really mad.  

So what should I do?

To be sure you get in the yearbook, go to the schools photographer. 

Then come to us! 🙂 Let us show you just how much fun getting your senior portrait can be and just how good you can really look.  Be different, have some fun for a change and get something that looks good.  In the past I have talked to some principals and they have told me that their photographer has been required to offer a yearbook only session that is free, the photography companies don't like to tell you about this session, that might have changed so ask your school.  Another thing is that if you are not happy with anything they have to give you your session fees back, you don't have to order to get in the yearbook.  Our daughter did this session last year, two shots in the drape.

This has been a pretty fun week, despite my aching back.  I went on a few "Road Trip" sessions and had several fun sessions at the studio.  It has been really fun getting to know some of the seniors this year.  I wonder how many of the school photographers can say that, or how many remember you five minutes after you walked away.  That is one of the things that make senior portraits at Bentley's special, we take the time to get to know something about you and really care.

Since we started doing portraits in the fields a few years ago we have had a lot of seniors want to do them.  But we can only do them this time of year, and only for another week or two at most.  We wanted to be sure and put this out early so if you are interested in this type session you need to book it right away because the fields will not look the same later in the summer.  Call now and book this special session for sometime in the next two weeks and we will do it for the same price as the "Downtown" session.  Another thing to think about is this – we can only do one a day and it has to be at 6PM.  If you want to do a session at the studio first we can book it at 4:30 or 5 and then go the the fields and finish.  We don't have many available times so don't delay on this one.
