Hooray!  Things are finally winding down and not a moment too soon, I think I can hear Alice Cooper warming up to sing!  Since spring break things have been a blur and now you are about to be "officially" a senior!  By now you should have received a catalog in the mail from us that had a sales letter letting you know about our best specials of the year inside.  The phone has been ringing and we are booking appointments so if you didn't get us the first time leave a message or give us a call back so we can get you scheduled.  One important thing to think about now is just how short your summer is!  A lot of people forget about sports when scheduling their senior portraits and wait too long.  Once football practice starts your life belongs to your coaches.  Just remember that and plan ahead.

These are just a couple girls that have been in over the past few weeks.

Every time I hear this it kills me.  Today we had a call and when Chance was going over everything with them they said "Oh, Wow, everyone has told me that your prices start at over $1000".  You wouldn't believe how many times we have heard that.  That is 5 times higher than what our prices start at!  Sometimes I have even heard that people have said that they spent a lot of money with us, and I checked and saw that they were claiming that they had spent 4 times more than they actually spent.  Truth be told, every year we have people come and say what a bargain we are.  We had one mom last year that said that she saved over $200 and got more poses and portraits than they did with her other child two years before.

I don't know how these things start, but I do know that even though they don't cost near what the rumors are they are worth it.  As a parent of a graduate, my oldest daughter graduated last year, I know how important it is to have these portraits.  She is gone on to college now and I will never be able to relive her senior year and we will cherish her portraits forever.  Looking back over her school photos I would hate to think that they were all I had to look back on.  So are they worth over $1000, you bet they are, do our packages start at over $1000, hardly!  (For the record our packages start around $200 and only 2 out of 17 packages are over $1000)

 

Looking back over the videos on the blog I noticed that I didn't have one of a boy, and I didn't want you to feel left out.  Guys, Bentley Photography is the place for you too!  Every year the number of portraits of senior boys grows as well as the fun and unique things we do with them.  This past year we have had some of my favorite senior boy images that we have ever done.  So guys, don't be left out and settle for being "herded" through the school gym for senior pictures, let us capture the real you in your senior portraits.  Mom & dad, let us capture your child in a way he wants to be remembered and in a way that you want to remember him when he is gone from home next year.  Bring your ideas or talk to us about some ideas and let us create some great memories.

Ever heard that one?  Well it is officially in the mail, our 2011 senior catalog that is, as of this morning.  We have been busy for the last few months getting everything ready for the class of 2011 and the last week stuffing and labeling envelopes.  This year we mailed just under 3000 catalogs all over Barrow, Jackson, Oconee and Clarke counties as well as Dacula and Lawrencevillle.  The catalogs have a letter in them that tells about all of our sales and ways to save 50% and more if you act fast (75% in May!).  A quick heads up, call and book 2 or more sessions and save 75% for May appointments and 50% for appointments in June if you call before Friday, May 28 at 5 PM.  For more information on our session choices visit our web page bentleyseniors.com to see the session choices, or check out the catalog when you get it.  Watch your mailbox!
