Congratulations Rem!

Congratulations to Rem Maxwell, GHSA Defensive Player Of The Year for Region 8AAAA!!  Not only is Rem good on the football field he also excels on the baseball field, so much so that he will be playing baseball at Georgia Southern next year.  Rem is a super nice young man and loves to fish and eat sushi when he’s not playing ball.  At Georgia Southern he plans to study marine biology and pursue a career in this field.

We want to congratulate Rem along with all of the Jefferson Dragon Football team on a great year!  Good luck this coming spring with baseball Rem! We look forward to hearing what your future has in store for you!

Let’s Get Down To Business

What is your hobby, hiking, shopping, biking, reading, baking?  How about learning about business?  Well that is just what Gered likes, and plans to study.  This is a young man that is driven, and loves to drive. He is so driven and loves business so much that he works two jobs while going to school.  And cars, I would guess that they might be his second love.  His dream car would be either a Lamborghini Huracan or a Mercedes G Class.  Gered is going to study international business at Georgia State University and wants to someday live in Miami, a long way from Brookwood High School.  Good luck in the future Gered!

This Girl Will Cut You

Well, she won’t really cut you, unless it’s in the horse arena.  Tyler Grace is a horse girl – cutting horses that is.  Her favorite hobby is competing in cutting horse competitions.  While horses are her life, she also loves her dogs and cows.  After high school she wants to go to college to someday be a large animal vet.  When she isn’t with her animals she is busy playing volleyball at North Oconee High School.  If you want a fun girl to hang around with who will definitely let you know where she stands, this is the one!  Tyler Grace is a beautiful, outgoing  and determined girl that will go far in this world.  And we can’t wait to see where she ends up!

These are just a few images from her My Stuff and Road Trip sessions.

Music Man

Michael is a senior at Hebron Christian Academy this year and after his formal and outdoor session he chose a session in Athens to round out his senior sessions.  Michael is very photogenic and comfortable in front of a camera, just as comfortable as he is behind his guitar.  After graduation he hopes to attend the University of Georgia and either study music or business.  If neither of these work out for him he could try modeling.  This is just a taste of something from each of his sessions.

Awards Keep Coming In

The year 2020 has been a trying year for many of us, but it did have it’s highlights. Several months ago Mike entered some images in the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA) competition.  The judging was held several weeks ago and we just got notification that several of his images won awards.  Usually they have a real convention along with the print competition and an awards banquet and of course this year things were different, and slower getting announced.  With all that has been going on it is so exciting to get this news!  Mike was awarded First Place in the Portrait Open category for a family portrait, First Place, Distinguished and Honors in the senior portrait category, one image received honors in the Fine Art Category and he received Best in Show in the portrait category.  Along with the awards he was also in the top 10 photographers in the state competition.  Several of these images have on our webpage, so you might have already seen them.  (This is a copy of what was posted on our Bentley Photography blog last Friday)

The senior images that received awards are First Place – Patrick from Jefferson High School, Distinguished – Madi from Winder-Barrow High School and Honors – Jaiden from Hebron Christian Academy.  First Place Portrait Open and Best of Show Portraits was of the Brown Family.
