Mothers Thoughts

When it comes to senior portraits it is always good to find out what past clients think.  We ask seniors and parents every year about what they thought about their session, the experience, what they might change if anything, and what comes to mind when they think about Bentley Photography.  For a parent it is good to hear another parent’s perspective, especially if you have never had a senior before.  This post is about Aidan’s experience with us this past summer and fall.  Aidan is a senior at Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula and an avid golfer.  We met him at the golf course and dodged balls, golfers and rain to get his portraits.  We barely made it to the car before the bottom fell out!

When we asked Aiden what made his experience different than what he had seen from other studios, he said that it was that we would come out to the golf course with him.  He also said that “it was a simply pleasurable experience”  and that his golf pictures was what he liked best.

So that brings us to his mom.  What did she think?  We started by asking how she felt about her child’s portrait session – “Loved it. Aidan felt very relaxed and you did a great job capturing his personality, especially on the golf course.  Those pictures far exceeded our expectations”.  How would you describe your experience with our staff – “Excellent. You both are so kind and calming.  We loved the way the pictures were selected.”  And last we asked how do you feel about the quality of your child’s portrait – “Excellent. I don’t think they could possibly get any better. A+++”

So there you have it! Don’t just take our word for it.  Listen to our past customers.

Mill Creek Thoughts

We have photographed Katherine for years and watched her grow up.  When high school got here of course things slowed down and we didn’t see her for a couple of years.  We were so honored when she called and booked her senior portrait session with us.  Katherine is about to graduate from Mill Creek High School so we thought we would ask her about her session.  We asked her to describe her session with us and she said it was – “fun, easy going, but still structured and efficient”.  So what did she see that she didn’t see in portraits from other studios – “attention to detail and comfortable posing”.  So what did she like best about your portraits from us – “the location and the natural editing”.  What would you change – “I wouldn’t change a thing”.  What comes to mind when you think about Bentley Photography – “classy, one of a kind and helpful”.  I think we can live with all of that!  If those things sound like things you think would be important to you give us a call and let’s see what we can create together.

Myles from FBHS

Myles is graduating from Flowery Branch High School this month, and we can’t believe it!  Not that we didn’t think he wouldn’t graduate, we have photographed him since he was really little.  We can’t believe we are getting so old!  Myles is the third sibling from his family we have had the pleasure of photographing for his senior portraits.  One thing about Myles that hasn’t changed since he was really young is his love for football.  Luckily for him his football days aren’t over yet.  Next year Myles will be heading off to Berry College to play football, and after that who knows where he might end up.

We couldn’t just post some of his senior portraits without showing a few from his younger years.  Snappy and handsome as ever.

Lily – WBHS

Senior portrait season is officially here!  Lily was ready for her senior portrait session, the weather wasn’t quite ready though.  We had planned on doing Lily’s session outdoors, but rain came not once, but four times.  Finally you just have to play the hand you are dealt.  We started her session in the studio and then went outside to finish it up.  She got the best of both worlds!  Lily is in the class of 2024 at Winder-Barrow High School where she is very active.  Lily is in the band where she is drum major, she is a varsity basketball cheerleader, Locket Club, science and math national honor societies, HOSA and her class Vice President.  She has everything covered.  After high school she wants to attend UGA and study biology and someday be a pediatric surgeon.  We had a blast photographing Lily and talking with her.

These are a few images from Lily’s session with us.

Race Cars/Cap & Gowns

Tyler just graduated from Laurel Springs School and is now busy in racing season.  Tyler spent most of his high school years on the road.  The road has more than one meaning when talking about Tyler.  Tyler was traveling the world racing and had to find a school that would work with his busy schedule.  In January he officially completed high school and hasn’t looked back since.  We caught up with Tyler last week for some cap and gown portraits.  We hadn’t seen Tyler in years, when we photographed him as a child.  He first started racing go carts and moved up to cars at an early age.  When he isn’t racing he is commentating on racing, As you can see, racing his his life.

We want to wish Tyler all the best in wherever his racing career takes him, and would love to catch up with him again soon.
