After a short spring, maybe a week, summer is here and that means senior portraits for the class of 2019. Jillian came from North Oconee High School for her senior portraits and chose to do a Downtown session. After high school Jillian wants to go to college and someday be an elementary school teacher. Mill Creek High School – Abby

Class of 2019 your time has finally come! We kicked off our senior portrait season with Abby from Mill Creek High School. Abby is a dancer and plays the bass drum in the band so both of those things had to be incorporated into her session. When talking to her we also learned that she is an avid reader and added books to her session too. We did the My Stuff session late one afternoon so that we could finish with some of her dance images outside in the dark. Abby was so much fun to photograph and talk to and get to know and we can’t wait to see her again for another session in a few weeks.

If you are in the Class of 2019 and go to Mill Creek High School and know Abby be sure to ask her about her session. Senior Portrait Reflections

This year we got to do senior portraits for Bre, AKA Wonder Woman, from Winder Barrow High School. Bre is involved in a lot of things, like ROTC and her track team where she pole vaults, but none that can compare to her love for Wonder Woman. In planning for her senior portrait session she wanted to incorporate a little bit of her hobbies to make them reflect her life at this time. We photographed her with her collection of comic books, costumes and uniforms and had a blast watching her take on the role of what we were photographing at the time.

Now as we look back on her session we had to ask her how she felt about it, and this is a little of what she and her mom had to say about her senior portraits.

After high school what are your plans? “I plan to attend Coastal Carolina University to study Marine Science with a pole vault scholarship.”

Why did you come to our studio for your senior portraits? “They aren’t cookie cutter poses with the same backgrounds. They are very unique.”

What did you like best about our photography that you didn’t see in portraits for other studios? “You were honest about a good or bad looking picture.”

What did you like best about your portraits? “No one else has pictures like mine.”

How would you describe your session with us? “Comfortable and fun.”

And her mom had this to say about the difference between the experience with us and the school photographer. “Yours were original and fun. You were a good listener and it was a more personal experience.”

And how about the quality? “Excellent, wanted all of them.”

What would you change or what could we do to make experience more enjoyable? “Nothing. We loved the Wonder Woman photos. Thank you for being open about new ideas.”

The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer and that means Baseball! The 2018 baseball season is underway now and we were so happy to photograph the WBHS Diamond Doggs seniors for banners this year.

As the weather gets warmer and the trees get greener it gets to be a great time for outdoor portraits. JCCHS Senior Tells About Her Experience

Kendall got a postcard from us about senior portraits and decided that we should do her senior portraits because she wanted something different than the school was providing. We had a blast photographing her and taking to her back in the summer when she did her sessions, she did an Outdoor and Athens session with us. A few weeks ago we contacted her to find out what she thought about her experience with us. This is what Kendall and her mom thought about her senior portrait session and finished portraits.

What did you like about our photography that you didn’t see in portraits from other studios? “So many different backdrops and props”

What did you like best about your portraits? “Being able to take pictures at the Winder studio and then travel to Athens”

What would you say to next year’s seniors about getting their senior portraits done at Bentley’s? “You will get a great variety of pictures and looks at Bentley’s”

And it is always good to here from the parents about what they thought about the senior portrait experience at Bentley Photography so this is what her mother had to say.

How would you say your experience at Bentley Photography was different than your experience with the school photographer? “It was nice to have someone focus on your child only and not be in a rush”

How do you feel about the quality of your child’s portraits? “They were beautiful and definitely worth the money”

Any other comments? “I love the experience with Bentley’s! Your website is very useful and informative. Additionally, Chance gave me great advice about which sessions to choose and types of clothing and accessories for my daughter to wear. I could’t believe how many great shots Mike was able to get of my daughter. He knew exactly how to achieve the poses and look we wanted to capture. Overall a great experience!”
