Senior Portraits – Rachel

We go WAAAAAYYYY back with Rachel, a gorgeous girl from WBHS and the Class of 2018. We have known her family for 100 years, well maybe not that long, but a long time. We go to church with her family and actually photographed her parents’ wedding! We have watched this sweet girl grow up and are thrilled that we are now photographing her senior portraits. Rachel was always a beautiful child and has become the most lovely, young lady and she’s super sporty! She’s on the tennis team at school and played softball for many years. We are looking forward to her next session but in the meantime, here are a few from her Outdoor session in our backlot.

Senior Portraits – This is America!

You can choose to go ANYWHERE you want to be photographed for your senior pictures, especially if you want the coolest, latest trends in senior portraits! In honor of our great country and the upcoming July 4th holiday, we would like to address a high school senior photo myth that continually circulates throughout our great state of Georgia every year. Ready? Here it is! YOU can GO ANYWHERE YOU would LIKE for YOUR SENIOR PORTRAITS!! How, you may ask, when my high school says I have to go to their contracted photographer to be in the yearbook? Because it is a FREE COUNTRY my friends! Most schools in the state of Georgia do require you to be photographed by the school photographer in the drape or tux for the formal pages in the yearbook. Yes, that is a requirement of your school and it is so there is uniformity on the pages. No yearbook editor wants one senior looking perfect in their professional portrait and another whose mom stood him in front of a garage door in his dad’s suit and submitted that as his senior formal. Trust me, I’ve seen it happen.

But for the senior photos you REALLY want – The ones you have seen on Pinterest. The photos that show your interests and are all about you. The photos where the photographer, that YOU CHOOSE to go to, takes hours of time to make recommendations on clothing, locations and styling and then gets the perfect shots of YOU. For those senior photos, YOU CAN CHOOSE where you go. Do not let a school dictate to you who can take the senior photos that you are purchasing for your family and your home. Time and time again we have heard people say, “Well we had to go to the school so we just did that and they were OK.” Are you KIDDING ME? Are you really going to settle for OK because someone else told you you had to? If you are OK with OK, then we are definitely not the photographer for you. But, if you are looking for senior portraits that are perfectly lit, color corrected, blemishes retouched, professionally printed AND you get to have a great time while taking the photos, then please give us a call. Chloe – WBHS Class of ’18

Chloe is such a sweetie! And just as beautiful on the outside as she is sweet! She is a senior from the WBHS Class of 2018 and chose to do the Outdoor session. We had a great time getting to know her and her sweet mama better and we even got to meet her sisters at another portrait session. They secretly had a portrait made for their mom for Mother’s Day! Told you she was sweet! Chloe is another one who is really involved in her school and community. Her beautiful smile will truly brighten your day and she is so thankful for all of the experiences she has had so far in her life and looks forward to her life’s next challenges. Chloe, with an attitude like that, you will move mountains!! Here are just a few of sweet Chloe’s images!

PAC Class of 2018 – Senior Portraits

Kallie came to us from Prince Avenue Christian School for her senior portraits. We have been photographing beautiful Kallie since she was knee high to a grasshopper. We remember when she was super shy, wouldn’t talk to us and would barely smile. Then finally, one day, when she was about 3 and we were talking about Barney and Mickey Mouse and blowing bubbles and who knows what else to get her to smile her whole face suddenly lit up! We broke through! We were friends! Now we know her as a beautiful, outgoing young lady who loves to get her photo taken. We are excited for her senior year and can’t wait to hear about all of the things she will be doing for the Class of 2018! Kallie joined us on a mini Safari to a warehouse for her first session and where we got some great shots of her! We have some other great sessions planned for her this summer and can’t wait to get started!

WBHS Parents And Students Thoughts

Do you ever wonder just what the seniors and parents think about senior portrait sessions done by Bentley Photography? These are a few thoughts from Hope and her mom about using Bentley Photography for Hope’s senior portraits.

Why did you come to Bentley Photography for your senior portraits? “I came to your studio because Bentley’s has the best reputation for beautiful pictures.”

What did you like about our photography that you didn’t see in portraits from other studios? “I saw unique pictures that interest me. I loved pics that I saw from Funky Fashion and I wanted to do that.”

How would you describe your session with us? “I had a lot of fun! I felt I could be myself. Ya’ll did a lot of cool things.”

What did you like about your portraits? “I loved all the different poses. It was hard for me to pick out the ones I liked best. I’ve had a lot of compliments.”

What would you change if you could do your session over again? “Nothing. I wanted to do more!”

What would you say to next years seniors about getting their senior portraits done at Bentley’s? “If you want great pictures and a lot of different poses no one else has go to Bentley’s!”

How would you say your experience at Bentley Photography was different than your experience with your school photographer? “You all were more professional. You took your time and tried new and interesting ways to get unique pictures! Loved every minute!”

How do you fee about the quality of your child’s portraits? “All I can say is WOW!! Hope’s pictures were fabulous! We had so many fantastic compliments! I am so glad we had Bentley’s to do Hope’s senior pictures!”
