Out of all of the senior portraits we have done over the years and seniors we have met Daysha was a first for me. Her favorite hobby is going to car and truck shows and she has always wanted to build a car or truck. Her dream job is to be a welder/heavy duty diesel truck mechanic. After reading that I thought I had surely made a mistake when I looked at her! Daysha is a senior at Apalachee High School this year and after taking a gap year she plans on going to school to pursue a career in her dream career. Her idea of a perfect day would be a day filled with cars and coffee. Ok all of you car freak guys out there – they do exist!

Lets Go Downtown

A Downtown senior portrait session was just what the doctor ordered for Hannah this past November. The weather was just cool enough to make it comfortable for sweaters or a light jacket and the leaves were still on the trees with the perfect amount of color. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or subject! Hannah is a senior this year at Mill Creek High School. When we talked to Hannah she had already made her plans for college and is planning on going to North Georgia College and University in Dahlonega in the fall. Hannah’s long range plans are to be an interior designer and to travel the world.

Fast Cars and Diesel

A few months ago Caden came in for his senior portraits from North Oconee High School. Caden is a lover of cars, anything from a ’65 GTO to an Alfa Romeo Giulia, he loves cars. His favorite hobby is working on cars and someday he hopes to build his own dream car. After high school he hopes to study to be a diesel mechanic. The one thing he has always wanted to do was learn to play a guitar, which is what I would have guessed. Everyone who sees him seems to go nuts over his beautiful hair, he has definitely learned how to keep the oil and grease out of it. We wish Caden all the best and hope to see him again some day driving one of his own creations!

Singing Dragon

Macy met us at the studio for an Outdoor session before hitting the road to Ft Yargo for her Road Trip session. While we were at Ft. Yargo it was a sort of deja vu feeling; it really felt that way. About a week later one of our memories on Facebook was a session from over 10 years ago and guess who the subject was! Macy and her brother, when she was a little girl. Macy loves to sing and play her guitar so we had to incorporate that into some of her images. As we photographed her it seemed like we had known each other forever which made everything go so smooth, we could have just sat around and talked for hours (almost anyway). Macy is a senior this year at Jefferson High School and is a Dragon through and through. After high school she plans on going to college and her dream job is to be a forensic psychologist. If she had any superpower what would she want it to be? Macy said telekinesis and when I was thinking about that I couldn’t help but think about Carrie and Matilda Wormwood from the movie Matilda – , just the way my mind works. I would guess she would be more like Matilda, unless she is really good at hiding something!!

Indiana Girl

Indiana, Wyoming and now Georgia. Are you from where you’re born or raised? I think you a part of all of the places you have visited, lived and all that you have experienced. Emma is a great example of that. All that she has seen, lived and experienced has made her what she is and it is something she can be proud of. Emma is a very vibrant girl, quiet but not too quiet. She seems to light up a room when she walks in. She came to us for her senior portraits after having done some in the Arizona desert, quite a different environment than we are used to in Georgia. We did Emma’s senior portraits outside in November so we had a little color left in the trees that added a little pop of yellow. Emma is a senior at Mill Creek High School now and after she graduated she plans on attending Auburn University and hopes to someday be a surgeon.
