Mike Has Been Asked To Speak At National Convention

Just before Thanksgiving we got a phone call asking me to speak at a convention in January.  Last year I went with some of my friends to this convention and it was the best photography convention I have ever attended.  Needless to say I was very honored, and a bit overwhelmed when we got the call.  We just got the confirmation email today, so it is for real and I wasn't dreaming.  The convention is for photographers that photograph seniors and young people and has attendees from all over the world.  Now to get everything together over the next couple weeks for the program!

Because Of All The Rain

http://www.zappos.com/tretorn-strala-ombre-blue.  Last night after taking the trash to the street and getting my feet soaked I decided to do something about it!  At about 8 o’clock last night I went to Zappos and ordered these shoes and this morning at 10 o’clock I had them!  No charge for the shipping either!  Wow.  And now I am ready for the next rain that comes our way.

Three weeks into competition season and on the road to Loganville in the morning.  We did the poster a little over a month ago with the police cars and now the group in uniform this week.  Good luck this weekend!  We will see you there.

Darius Goes West

Dear Friends,

I am a huge fan of a multi-award winning film called Darius Goes West,
and I think you will be, too. You can watch the entire film
at the link below for free.

I'm also competing for big prizes
in a sharing contest they are having on their site. I get points if you
watch the film, join my crew, and/or donate to the cause.

You can view the trailer and the entire movie here:

Here is a quick synopsis:
Accompanied by his eleven best friends, Darius Weems, a fifteen-year-old
living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, leaves home for the first time in his life.
This rowdy crew sets a course for California, where they hope to
convince MTV to customize Darius's wheelchair on the hit show, Pimp My Ride. They unkowingly leave a nation-wide
grassroots movement in their wake.

This movie is hilarious, exciting, and extremely important. It
has been covered by everyone from Ellen and The Today Show to Nightline
and CNN. I hope you enjoy it as much as I an so many others have. Thank
you so much!

Sincerely,

Mike Bentley
